So, theStart finally decides to come back to Pittsburgh after like, 2 whole years (last time was on tour Sugar Ray and of course, I didn't know who they were then). And thats a long time considering theStart is always touring and playing somewhere almost every night. So, yea. We were all excited, well, at least I was, and stuff that they were coming here. Anyways... we get to Nick's Fat City (what a name) at around 7:45. The show started at 8. A little bit after we get there ands sit down at these tables and stuff Aimee Echo comes in and walks past my mom. I didn't notice until like 5 minutes later when I saw her back at the merch table. Then I told Chrissy I saw her. And then my mom looked and she was like, "Oh. I saw her walk in. I was thinking wow, she must like thestart. she looks just like the singer." lol... so me and Chrissy go back to the merchandise table and I get a shirt and a Girlz Garage pin and she gets the ep and a pin too. Then we get Aimee to sign both our cds. A few minutes later we see Jamie and asked him to sign our cds too. Chrissy went up to him and said, "um, can you sign this? I like your eyebrows." And he was like, awesome. She's so wierd... Anyways, then we go sit down for a bit and watch Lennon. At first I thought she was a bit boring because it was just piano and drums. But then after a few songs I did change my mind and ended up liking her.

After Lennon was done theStart came on. Me and chrissy went up towards the stage. Well, actually like right in front of it. There was about 6 other people standing near us. There were a bunch of people still stitting at the tables on the sides and standing up on the second floor looking over the edge too. I was like, how can everyone just stand (or sit) there? TheStart's gonna be playing! Although after a few songs, a couple more people did join us. There was this girl next to near us though, and she had hair like Aimee's except it was a little longer and the ends were pink in the front. She took a lot of pictures too. So did we. I had my digital camera, but... of course I pressed the wrong button while deleting one during the show which deleted all the picture I had taken beforehand. So, all I had after that was one picture of theStart and 3 of Lillix and I didn't notice til the way home. Made me sad. I had a movie thing on there too. But I got doubles afterwards of Chrissy's. I thought they turned out pretty good for a disposable camera even though they didnt scan as well...

So theStart go through their set and a few of the people around us were singing along. That was cool. They sure do have a lot of energy. All 4 of them like, never stopped moving during the whole time. All the pictures on my camera came out blurry. (Well, the ones that were on my camera.) At one point towards the end of a song, don't remember which one, Erick's cord to his guitar came out. He must've jumped on it or something. Jamie went over and helped him fix it while Aimee started talking about how everyone should register to vote because we are the ones who decide who wins the election. Erick's guitar was fixed and they continued on.

After they were done, Aimee said they'd be back at the merch table. so, we waited while Lillix got set up onstage and soundchecked. We saw Aimee at the merch table but decided to wait to see if any of the other band members came back too. We didn't see them. Except when they were gathering up their equiptment and stuff. We waved to Billy as he went by with some big black box with theStart written on the side. I don't think he saw us though. So, we went back to the merch table and we both got patches and I got an extra one to give to my friend. Then, we got a picture with Aimee. I was gonna take the picture of her and Chrissy while Chrissy would take the picture of her with me, but Chrissy only had one picture left on her camera and I didnt wanna go all the way back to where my mom and get mine, so we all squished in the same picture and the girl at the merch table (Fiona I guess?) took it. Then we go watch a few songs by Lillix. They weren't that bad. Chrissy liked them. Then, my mom wanted to leave. It was kinda late and my aunt had to get up at 4 the next morning for work. The time in the parking meter was close to running out too... So we left then and began on our way home. The end. In conclusion, theStart are the best and you should go see them live sometime and get their cds. and shirts. and stickers. or else.
